Donate food

Some of our food is obtained by donation in an effort to keep our costs as low as possible to keep our lunch free to those in need. We purchase food to supplement what we do not have. The number of people we are serving has increased dramatically in the last year. Our numbers keep increasing, as food and financial donations have decreased due to a tough economy. Thank you for remembering the needs of approximately 300 plus men, women and children that come to us hungry and in need of a free meal. Our needed food items is listed below.

Shepherd’s Table Soup Kitchen needed items list:

  • #10 canned vegetables (green beans, mixed vegetables, collards, carrots)
  • #10 canned diced tomatoes
*regular size cans will work too but larger #10 are easier for us to open and serve more people.
  • Frozen meat if you bring it here still frozen: hamburger patties, chicken wings, meatballs typically are easiest. Sam’s Club sells these in bulk.
  • Pam Cooking Spray
  • Pasta/spaghetti sauce
